Art Design: A window box with the patriotic colors of the U.S.A.
Headsculpt: This is one of the many variations of the Barbie face. The eyes and smile are very wholesome and sincere. Barbie is wearing a red lipstick, and she looks professional and yet very warm and friendly. The blonde rooted hair literally glows.
Articulation: This is a traditional style of 12" Barbie body. The rubber legs bend a little, but the arms are stiff. The neck has the full range of motion. Barbie's finger nails are painted red.
The Outfit: This looks like the Nancy Reagan style of suit that seems to be a favorite of First Ladies and also the wives of visiting Presidents and Prime Ministers. The pants and jacket are a beautiful deep red. The tailoring is first rate, as is usual with Barbie outfits. The white silky blouse highlights the red outfit. The Stars and Stripes scarf looks great on Barbie. The black belt and the black trim on the sleeves and pockets also helps the outfit look sharp. This is one of the better Barbie outfits for any professional or politically minded lawyer/lobbyist Barbie.
The Gear: Barbie is equipped with a nice black imitation leather handbag. She also has a campaign sign and a campaign button.
Market: This Barbie ($14.99) is not hard to find at retail stores like Toys R Us or KB Toys even though she was issued in 2004. Thanks to my daughter Magnita who helped with the photos and contributed her impressions.
Overall: This Barbie is a must-have for any true collectors, and it is also a toy that provides a positive message for young girls.
