Intro: I just picked up the 12” Pirates of the Carribean's Captain  Jack Sparrow figure at Toys R Us last weekend, and I wanted to give my own little review. Zizzle is the new company that is making the movie action figures for Disney.
This Headsculpt of  Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow accurately captures his dangerous, conniving, and cunning looks very well.
Outfit: The costume is awesome, a fully embroidered pirates' outfit. It has working imitation leather belts with plastic buckles. The photos will speak for themselves unless you’ve already seen the figure on the shelves at the store.
Gear: The weapons are alright. The cutlass is flimsy and rubbery, but the pistol is nice. The pirate hat is molded vinyl (rubber, whatever) and it is removable so that you can have a hatless Jack.
The Articulation is not great, but it is decent. The body reminds me of the Marx figures in the legs, the knees don’t bend very far and the boots are molded on and jointed at the ankles. The upper part of the body is fine the arms seem fully articulated. The head only turns from side to side (which is a little difficult since he has long molded hair).
Overall: Overall I’d say it’s a good figure for the price ($19.99). I would recommend this figure as one to go find, and I would have to give it an A+ despite the shortcomings with the figure's articulation. The accuracy of Depp's features and the quality of the outfit is what makes this one figure so nice to add. This figure  stands much taller than the other figures in my collection. This may or may not make kit bashing his clothes a problem. I measured him standing upright and he measured 12.75” tall. I guess that would make him a quite intimidating figure. A real man among dolls… LOL… ahem… sorry! Enjoy the photos!
Grade: A+
