Flynt, 12" Action Man's Action Force Team
Art Design: Orange & black Action Man window box with comic book art on the front and back depicting Flynt  riding his cycle and fighting Dr. X. Flynt is a member of the Action Force Team along with Action Man and Redwolf. This is one of the last 12" Action Man figures before Hasbro switched to the new 5" Alpha Teens series.
The Headsculpt: is of a blonde surfer dude with wavy blonde hair under a molded-on black do-rag. Flynt would probably be a good choice for a pirate kitbash. Flynt also has a little white band-aid over the bridge of his nose.
Articulation: This is one of the new, improved Action Man bodies with the thinner waists and smaller biceps. Flynt is more flexible than a standard  economy GI Joe, but not as much as a Dragon figure. Flynt has split-joint biceps and his neck and his waist have a ball-joint for maximum posability.
Arm-Cast: The most innovative and fun feature of Flynt is the cast on his arm. Not only does it look good, but Flynt includes a boomerang that he can shoot from the spring-loaded missile chamber inside his arm. A cardboard cut-out of Dr. X is included for target practice.
Outfit: Flynt includes a cool pair of sneakers with molded-on red laces. The dark gray and red shorts are nothing special. The shirt is molded-on, and over the shirt is some thin, molded-on red protective padding (Flynt is an extreme cyclist). Over his collar bones are a couple of plastic flaps that make Flynt look like a  comic book superhero. All this molded-on padding detracts from the figure. If you snip off the plastic flaps then you can put a shirt or a jacket over Flynt and he will look fine.
Gear: Flynt includes a couple of knee-pads and a cool yellow & black cycle that he can be firmly attached to. The cycle is pretty fast and it has a removable mini-stand under it that keeps it from rolling over. Flynt is a fun toy for kids; though once he takes a few face-dives doing stunts on the pavement he won't look too good.
Market: Flynt is available in Europe's  Toys R Us; and from online dealers. The average price is $15-20 US.
Overall: The headsculpt and the arm-cast are very well done, but the body has too much padding molded-on to it. This set is a dream come true for any  MTV Extreme Sports fan. Set up a couple of plywood ramps, and you can have Flynt doing stunts all day long!
