Art Design: colorful deep red window box with a photo of the Bratz Rock Angels Band on the back of the box jamming some Black Sabbath.
History: The Bratz are the 10" tall dolls with the big lips and the golf-ball sized heads.
The Band Instruments: This set does not include any of the Bratz figures. It also does not include the guitars which are seen in the photo on the back of the box. The set does include the rotating stage; the DJ turntables & keyboards combo (and stand); and a really nice drum kit.
The drum kit includes a crash cymbal with a double-braced stand; a bass drum, a snare drum; two tom toms with a double braced stand; a drum stool, and drum sticks. This basic drum kit is almost identical to what The Beatles and many bands from that era used for their television appearances (except for the heart-shaped drum).
The keyboards have four scratch/sampler turntables and a mixer. It looks very professional considering that this is a toy.
The Stage has a wall of amplifiers next to the Rock Angels marquee. The stage can be rotated manually so that children can help their Bratz give that award winning performance!
Extra Gear: Two water bottles, two tall glasses with drinks, a Bratz CD (the tiny case includes a plastic CD); two backstage passes, and several cosmetics are included (see photo on left).
Market: This set is available at most toy retailers. KayBee Toys had it for $14.99.
Overall: Any set with a drum kit is pretty rare. This little set is cute and it has a lot of details. At $14.99 it is an excellent buy.
