Packaging: Nice window box, what you see is what you get!
Headsculpt: This is supposed to look like Bill Jordan, who is a man in his late 50's based on the photo which is on the box (see photo on right). ERTL did a great job on the headsculpt, and Bill Jordan looks like he is in his 20s. It is a nice headsculpt. The face reminds me of actor David Hedison, Submarine lieutenant from the TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. He also played Felix Leiter on a couple of the James Bond movies (see photos to left). ERTL really does an excellent job in sculpting realistic faces and normal sized heads.
Articulation: This is a Medicom style body, which is very similar to Dragon. For photos of the Medicom body style, check the Cro-Magnon Matt photo review. The hands grip well, this is a quality action figure with lots of fun play value.
Outfit: Well tailored fishing or hunting outfit. The figure brings a camouflage shirt, pants, and jacket. The tall green boots seem to be meant for wading into the water. Bill Jordan also includes a camouflage head & face cowl; camouflage fingerless gloves which have a velcro snap-on section that turns the finger-less gloves into mittens. This was really a cool feature, as I can imagine that if the fingers were getting cold in the woods it would be a great feature to convert the gloves into mittens!
Gear: Camouflage working backpack; not a resin block like the 21st Century Toy Co. usually includes in its boxed sets. A camouflage carrying case for the bow and arrows. Also included is a nice green flashlight, duck-calling horn; binoculars; and one of those cumputerized heat-signal finders.
Price: MSRP of $21.99 from online dealers. Possibly less on auction sites.
Overall: These are nice sets, and each one has unique scale-sized gear. All for the same price that you could spend on a Matrix figure which brings ZERO accessories!
