Packaging: Try saying Psycho Cycle ten times fast! And yet someone at Mattel is marketing a character and motorcycles with the generic label of "Psycho." Anthony Perkins must be turning in his grave! This Cycle's box is easy to open and the twist ties can be removed without much damage to the box. The colors are the Max Steel standard blue and yellow.
Motorcycle: The cycle is a nice black color, for those who remember that the cool characters in most movies ride black motorcycles (even James Bond's BMW cycle). The cycle is well balanced, and one rider fits on it easily. The front of the bike opens up to shoot a missile, and the side has a missile hatch too (see photo below). The helmet which is included goes well with a G.I. Joe in Delta Force uniform (see photo below right). Any figure in a black outfit would look good on this cycle. The cycle would fit in with 21st Century's The Villains if you wanted to add an inexpensive motorcycle to their motorpool. If you would like to eliminate the red or otherwise improvise, the plastic cycle should be easy to detail or re-paint. The motorcycle feels pretty sturdy and kids should be able to get a lot of play out of it.
Overall: It is a nice compact cycle and the price was under $12.00 at various retail stores.
Grade: B
