Packaging: The 12" Attack of The Clones window boxes are much more colorful and eye-catching than the previous sets. The back of the box shows photos of Jango Fett, the Super Battle Droid, and Count Dooku, whose face looks like a dried prune or whithered tea-bag. As much as I like Christoper Lee, I had to pass on Count Dooku!
Headsculpt: Zam Wesell's face is very pretty. The face of the actress in the movie was only shown for about ten seconds, so it is hard to compare. Unfortunately, while the face is very cute, it is also about twice as large as it should be, and the hair is done in a way that makes it look like short Rastafarian Dreadlocks. It really looks like she got some kind of bad haircut.  Fortunately, Zam Wesell is equipped with a disguise mask that fits on her face perfectly! The helmet and veil also fit on her whether she is wearing the mask or not. The mask itself is probably the best feature of this set. It is very well done, and I am not sure what "space alien" it is supposed to be, but it looks like it is  YODA's mother.
Figure: Zam Wesell has a standard BARBIE type of body. Considering that she is supposed to be an action figure, I had hoped that at a minimum she would have a Gymnastic Barbie body type. But her elbows do not bend, and neither do her knees. This is a Barbie doll which is exactly like what Mattel manufactured in 1959.
Clothing/Gear: The clothing is very colorful, and the material is very soft. The purple veil fits perfectly on the helmet, and the gun and rifle both fit into the small hands of Zem Wessel. But for the non-articulated body and giant-size head; this would have been a really outstanding collectible.
Overall: As often seems to be the case with Hasbro's work on Star Wars, it is not a bad set but it could have been much better. As a collectible this is the kind of doll that might not sell very well and could have an increased value in the future. Then again since the character was so insgnificant in the grand scheme of STAR WARS, it may not be considered a "key" item for a Star Wars collection, except that it is a rare female figure and the only one besides Princess Leia and Princess Amidala.
Price: Zam Wessel is being sold at $19.99 at most Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, K-Mart and various other department stores and the internet.
