Art Design: Valor v. Venom GI Joe motif and comic-book art style for a bubble carded figure.
Headsculpt: The Dreadnok Ripper is Harry Nod, born in Grim Cape, Tasmania. He is a member of the COBRA, and he looks like an awesome Pirate. He could also fit in as an Australian or British Explorer. The Ripper should definitely be on anyone's Adventure Team. The Lamb Chop sideburns are well-sculpted, as they rise and are textured to look like a real beard. His head also has a red molded-on bandana. The bandana is textured and the paint apps are crisp and perfect throughout.
Body: Muscle Body II with black molded-on gloves on gripping hands. The Ripper wears a dark gray "wife-beater" T-Shirt molded on. The shirt is nice and tight, highlighting The Ripper's muslcular bod even more. A nice red and black COBRA tattoo is emblazoned on his left arm.
Outfit and Gear: The only clothes included are the red and black Gangsta Rap pants. I have gotten several of these pants in different sets and have outfitted a small gang for a future photo-story. The Gear has three great items: The black COBRA baseball cap is awesomely cool. The silver mirrored sunglasses on black frame is also very well done. The short machete really fills a niche for anyone who likes to collect different kinds of weapons. The brown rubber harness holds the machete and a large Luger (Cobra Commander's Luger) which is also included. The brown harness is a bit bulky, but it is very detailed and it looks pretty good if you are going to keep Harry Nod "as-is." Also included is a gigantic Laser Cannon that shoots three projectiles (which are included). The giant weapon would fit in better with a Space themed character. Harry Nod should have been equipped with an M-60 or some other realistic Infantry weapon. The gigantic black boots are way too large for the feet of this figure.
Overall: For the suggested price of $9.96, this is an excellent set with an outstanding character. A File Card is included. This set is sold at just about every retail outlet.
