GI Joe's Royal Marine Commando
Art Design: The GI Joe standard window box with a colorful gold foil Strategic Operations Forces sticker and the dramatic painting of the real soldiers in action.
Headsculpt: Look at the photo above and to the left. The face has an interesting British look
which is clean-cut. The painted-on hair is blond, but the figure that I opened had a lot of gaps in the paint. I think they were trying to make it look like highlights, but if so, then it should have been done with another shade of yellow paint. Instead, there is only the yellow paint and fleshtone and that just looks bad. A good idea executed cheaply. A  collector hobbyist can paint in the highlights with acrylic paint.
The removable night vision scope attaches to the cloth helmet with elastic straps.
The Outfit & Gear: The Desert Camouflage outfit is the modern British pattern (see top left photo). The outfit has a very distinct design, no fuzzy paint apps, it looks crisp and professional. The scarf around the face has a velcro tie, which is easier to use and it does not require tieing knots into small fabrics. The Boots are very nicely sculpted. The soles of the boots, the side panels, and the shoestrings are each different colors. While the color separations are not perfect, the boots look very good for display purposes. The Beret that is included is a nice soft rubber and it looks nice on the GI Joe.
black rappelling rope; detailed fragmentation grenades, a SAM rocket launcher and a machine gun with bipod and ammo belt are also included.
Overall: This set has a lot of pluses, and it only minor negatives. It is a very nice set for the  MSRP of $19.99 at most retail outlets.
Grade: B+
The Tactical Kevlar Vest that is included is a semi-hard rubber with a lot of detailing. It actually looks very good as body armor. The sculpting captures the wrinkles of the fabric realistically. Goggles, knee pads,
