Increbible Mecha-Hulk; Marvel Legends Series 2
Art Design: Standard Window Carded Action Figure with illustrated back cover showing the Marvel Legends Series Two action figures.
Sculpting: The Incredible Hulk was created by legendary artist Jack Kirby. This Mecha-Hulk figure is based on the art of Arthur Adams. The sculpting on this is quite amazing. Mecha-Hulk looks like a lot of inspiration was borrowed from Stan Winston's Terminator Endoskeleton, beefed up on Gamma Radiated Steroids. The face is almost exactly from The Terminator. The arms, legs, hips, chest, and neck all have pistons, air hoses, shock aborbers, gears, jet exhausts, and tiny machinery. The armored body also resembles the traditional metallic design of The Destroyer which was created by Odin to protect Asgard.
Articulation: Mecha-Hulk has 46 points of articulation, but that includes various hoses and machinery gear that is flexible. The figure stands almost 8" tall and nearly 7" wide at the chest. The cones at the elbows and on the back of the Mecha-Hulk's hatch are jet-packs, and the exhaust vents are painted red with little exhaust holes. The
shoulder joints have yellow gears imbedded. The hands open and close. The thumbs are also articulated, as are the toes and ankles. The knees bend, and behind each knee is another jet-pack. Every joint has machinery and gears sculpted into the body. The propulsion-packs are adjustable, apparently so that the Mecha-Hulk can navigate The design of the figure implies that Mecha-Hulk is capable of Space Travel using the various jet-packs to provide impulse power.
Playability:  The body is easy to put into a variety of poses. For the size and weight of this figure, kudos should be given that it is so poseable. Additionally, Mecha-Hulk has a hatch in the back for the Gremlin, who looks like a miniature Modok. Gremlin is one ugly little dude with a split lip and a droopy eye too. Gremlin looks like a character inspired by Jack Kirby. This little guy has a lot of detail and his arms and legs can move up and down and he can easily stand in several poses. A couple of  tin-foil spring  missiles with rubber tips are included, and they pop out of the missile chambers that are behind the chest-plates in the Mecha-Hulk's chest
Paint Application: Excellent work on this figure! Not only is Mecha Hulk and his gruesome little buddy Gremlin painted to exacting perfection, but the silver metallic parts of Mecha-Hulk have been given a burnished battle scuffed look. Toy Biz really knocked itself out producing this Mecha-Hulk!
Overall: Mecha-Hulk is available at most retail stores at the price of about $6.99. A top-notch action figure effort which is a good value.
Grade: A+
