Art Design: brown dreary window box that clearly shows the 12" Andromeda Action Figure and the accessory.
Headsculpt: An incredibly lifelike and very expressive sculpt of Keith Hamilton Cobb, who played Tyr Anasazi for three seasons on ANDROMEDA. The dreadlocks are in three groups (back, front left, front right), which makes it easier to move the head around and does not make the dreadlocks a hindrance.
The Action Figure: is basically a combination of the legs and hips of  a Blue Box Elite figure and the chest and arms of Gumby. The arms are bendy! Not like the Hall of Fame GI Joe that had some kind of rubber covered frame, but these arms are the old 1960s bendy style with a piece of wire under the rubber. As most folks know, if you pose the figure too many times, the wire snaps inside the rubbery arm. I switched the head to an Ultimate Soldier Super Soldier body. As you can see from the photos, the skin tone is almost 100% perfect.
The Outfit & Gear: the Leatherette cape looks great, and so do the leatherette (Pleather?) pants. The boots look like something the KISS band might have worn. The plastic belt has a handgun holster on each leg, but only one handgun was included. A flyboy t-shirt is included.
Overall: The headsculpt and the cape and pants are outstanding. The rest is third rate!
Price and Availability: These Andromeda figures have been sitting at Toys R Us since 2000, and they are not moving at the $27.99 price. On e-bay, some sellers have the entire set of four figures at $47.99 plus postage; or individual figures at around $15.00 each.  The four figures in the set are Dylan Hunt (played by Kevin Sorbo), Tyr (Keith Hamilton Cobb), Beka Valentine (Lisa Ryder), and Rev Bem (Brent Stait).
