The Headsculpt: The Digital Camouflage version of the Marine Expedition Unit is packaged with either Caucasian or African-American figures. The Caucasian sets have either a blonde or a brunette haired figure. I bought both. The Brunette has a strong Israeli, French, or European look. He has a grim look that is very well done (see photos on either side). The blonde has a Mid-Western look and would be a good candidate for a Steve Rogers (Captain America) kitbash (see photos below).
Articulation: This is an ultra articulated 12" action figure which is outstanding for the moderate price. Only black gloved hands are included with this set.
The Outfit: This set has the the new Digital Camouflage fatigues, and the fabric pattern is very crisply printed. It looks great. GI Joe issued a similar figure and their pattern was larger and a bit fuzzy. The Power Team Camo pattern is done at the 1:6 scale, as it should be. These outfits all have stitched metal snaps, just like the original GI Joe outfits! In addition to the jacket and pants, a boonie hat, web-belt & boots are included.
The Gear: As you can see from the photo on the middle right, a backpack, sleeping cushion, rocket-launcher, 2 grenades, clip-on canteen, knife with bayonet-clip, and 3 types of pouches are included. The M-4 brings clip-on attachments such as the scope and the sweeper-handle which can be glued-on permanently or else they will sometimes snap off if dropped. The sleeping cushion is a great accessory for anyone who takes Action Figure camping seriously and has the sleeping bags.
Market: These sets are $7.99 at Big Lots stores, and $9.99 at Kay-Bee Toys. Publix, Navarro, and other supermarkets also have these sets. JC Penneys also carries select Power Team Elite figures, including some exclusive sets. Some online dealers also have them in stock.
