Headsculpt and Figure: The figure is similar to an Action Man body. The head and neckpost is a one-piece which fits into a ball inside the chest cavity. Switching heads with Power Team and any other brand is currently impossible unless you make some major modifications. This Ranger figure features the "Apocalypse Now" style face camouflage from the scene when Martin Sheen came out of the water to assasinate Colonel Kurtz. However, the white face paint also brings to mind the Zombies from any of the movies by George A. Romero, Dario Argento or Bruno Maffei. Does anyone remember the first scene from "DAWN OF THE DEAD," when the SWAT officers invade the building that is full of Zombies?
Unfortunately, the photos do not capture just how good the face camouflage is on this AA figure. I have seen the same camo on a Power Team Caucasian figure, and it does not have the same gray tone. If you get a chance to visit a Big Lots Store, you should check out these figures!
Outfit and Gear: Nothing unusual. A standard modern woodland camouflage uniform; dog-tags, M-203; web-belt and harness; binoculars, flashlight, large bandana, and a resin backpack which includes a sleeping mat that has a soft padding and comfortable look.
Price: These great Power Team Elite sets are $7.99 any Big Lots Store, and $9.99 at KB Toys. Other Toy Stores and Discount Outlets may have them too.
