Packaging: The British SAS Scud Hunter box has a very strong comic-book adventure look. The front flap and inside flap have the same painting. 21st Century Toys/Ultimate Soldier might have given a re-cap of the British SAS Scud Hunters' participation in the Gulf War. The window shows the product well, it is easy to pull out and does not have many twist-ties. The gear is vacu-carded, so the backing card must be ripped apart in order to remove the very excellent gear!
Headsculpt: The SAS Scud Hunter is a headsculpt unique to this set. He has a strong British look, with a bit of five-o-clock-shadow on his face, and he looks ready to take out a team of raggedy camel jockeys. The body is super-soldier style.
Outfit: The British SAS desert camouflage outfit is much more concealing than the US Chocolate chip version, IMHOI. The boxed Scud Hunter brings the added Desert Camo hooded Jacket. The jacket is very spacious and the hood has space for a helmet. The boots are weathered and look awesome. This SAS Desert Storm outfit has no peer, and is the best one I have seen.
Gear: The chest rig, ammo pouches, ALICE pack, knife & sheath, web-belt, sand goggles, Boonie hat, camouflage M-16/M-203, scarf, and gloves are all in the yellow-green camo look. Pretty much out of this world until Dragon came on the scene. This set is the best one though. It is almost Dragon-level, but it says "Play with me!"
Overall: The boxed British SAS Scud Hunter set was done right. It is an outstanding set, and now it is on clearance at Toys R Us for $17.88 (Christmas 2001). So run and get it, because you cannot get anything better for that price! Just the gear is worth it. You can also add a side-arm and other gear as you see fit! Only your imagination is the limitation.

of the best carded sets that you can get.
It brings everything that the boxed set
brings except for the massive overcoat
and the figure. Both sets are excellent!
