The Thing is one of the greatest 1950s science fiction movies ever made. I found these photos in a box of old photos. They are from the mid 1970s, and they may be the only evidence that exists that another Thing arrived after 1954 and before 1982.
Prelude: Captain Action and Big Jeff are working with their tools on some minor repairs on the Adventure Team ATV. The location is a sandy hillside on the Sierra Madre, in Mexico.
A major explosion rocks the hillside moments after the Adventure Team's Sgt. Hauser arrives on the scene.
Some unknown alien force sends Sgt. Hauser through a Mirror Universe inside the mysterious Space Capsule. Shocked, he crawls around trying to find his way out!
Captain Action finds the alien space capsule abandoned, and no sign of Sgt. Hauser! CA then hears the screams of terror of a local villager, Pablo!
A few minutes later, near the village, Captain Action finds a horrifying scene. The alien Thing is in the midst of converting himself into a human being. Pablo's clothes are ripped, and blood streams from where the Thing's tentacles entered the body. Given a few more moments, the Thing would have been completely transformed into an undetectable human-like creature. Whoa!
